DECEMBER : La Belle Vie ( :

Here's what you'll need this month!
La Belle Vie kit
Paper Trimmer
Tombow
Tombow Blender Pen
Black Sponge
Scissors
3-D foam
CRICUT ARTISTE cartridge
colonial white cards/envelopes if making cards

INKS:
Black Ink
Blush Ink

BLOCKS:
1 x 3 1/2
2 x 3 1/2
2 x 6 1/2

PHOTOS:
brochure layout:
1- 5x7 PORTRAIT
2 - 4x6 PORTRAIT
You could opt to put a small 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 or smaller on the tag that has the tower on it - that inserts into the pocket - that would be super cute ( :

bonus layout:
1 - 6x6
2 - 4x6 PORTRAIT
3 - 3x3

The layout is pretty straight forward - remember when you are cutting on the cricut to leave your mat in and cut ALL the pieces from that paper at the same time.
All the pieces are sponged with Black ink - I opted to turn my B&T paper over and use the back side instead of the stripe - you can do what suits your photos best.
I've had trouble with my scanner so I only got 2 photos up on here at this point but plan to add more - you could opt to use the 4x6 flip flaps to add more photos if you want to the 2nd page. If you do that - put them in the middle of the 2 photos - not the outside edge photo since that one has the lamp post on it.

I did not get to the second layout this month - had some unexpected company that was here for 2 weeks - sorry ) :

CARDS:
I opted for a super simple card - my favorite of the two seen:
LEFT card:
4 1/4 x 5 1/2 black cardstock
4 1/8 x 5 3/8 purple cardstock in pack
4 x 5 1/4 Tan B&T
2 1/2 x 3 1/2 purple cardstock in pack
2 5/8 x 3 5/8 black cardstock
left over banner pieces from layout - polka dot one is 2 x 2 1/2, pink is 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 then notched
I cut a 7/8 x 3 piece for the word and then cut it to size
sponged all in black ink
I stamped the image in the upper corner
sponged the paper flower with baby pink & blush ink

RIGHT card:
super simple - just a plain colonial white card base
I stamped an image 3 times in the background - I used the tombow blending pen to highlight the butterfly in the image
I cut random length stripes of paper - I think my width is 1/2 - but you could do some fat some skinny - mix it up - cut the banner on the cricut - pg 35 Accent 2 pink cardstock, Accent 2 shift Black cardstock - I believe mine is cut 1 1/4 as it measures from the widest part on the banner - but you could cut it to fit your words.
This is my favorite card as it is something you can easily adapt to do for lots of different occasions using different papers etc.
